Speaking earlier this month, co-owner and creator Anthony Purzycki of Flanders said nearly 1,700 people had already played "Cure Z," and only 75 had solved the game, which debuted May 1. Notably, Trap Door gives attendees free roam of nearly the entire building tailored for its story, setting it apart from typical escape room attractions that dedicate a smaller spaces to a number of themes simultaneously. ![]() "Cure Z" is the site's second game, following the inaugural serial killer thriller "Escape the Architect." The attraction launched in October, daring visitors to solve challenges and puzzles hidden across two stories and nearly 2,000 square feet in a former locksmith's office in the heart of Red Bank's downtown. That's the incredibly gripping gist of "Cure Z," the current game being hosted at the Trap Door Escape Room, 60 White St., in Red Bank.
